LEADERSHIP at Delta.Church

Pastor Scott & Angie Breault

Scott and Angie met in 1995 in Escanaba Michigan. They’ve been married since 2002 and have 7 beautiful children. Since the late 90s, both have been actively involved in ministry. From leading worship in youth group to children’s ministry to discipleship, teaching, drama productions and more, they continually followed the call God placed on their hearts for people. Over the years, God has faithfully surrounded them with strong spiritual leaders who have poured into their lives.
From 1999-2012, Scott was the volunteer worship leader at New Life Assembly of God in Escanaba, Michigan. In 2012, he went on staff part-time and oversaw the worship ministry, weekly service planning, web, social and IT needs of the church. In 2014 Scott felt called and was offered the opportunity to come on staff full-time as an associate pastor. During the next few years, he took ministry classes through Global University (Berean School of the Bible) and earned his ministry credentials with the Assemblies of God USA. From 2014 until 2022, Scott served as the Worship and Creative Arts Pastor at New Life Church. In addition to that role, he preached on various weeks, facilitated pre-marital counseling, marriage counseling, one-on-one counseling, discipleship classes and helped oversee various ministries within the church. Near the end of 2021 they felt called to step down from their roles into a season of waiting. Over the next year, God continued to develop a vision in their hearts for ministry to the people of Delta County.
Today, Scott and Angie have a vision to lead Delta Church in pursuing the call to reach people with the Gospel. They envision eventually stewarding a facility where local churches and organizations can partner together to meet the needs of the people in their communities. They feel very strongly that God is calling His church to go out beyond the walls of the traditional church building and meet people where they are. They intend to do that by being engaged in community activities and hosting opportunities for families and the community to come together. Their primary mission is to exalt God, edify one another and evangelize the world. They envision doing that by partnering with and helping equip others called to do the same. Their current vision statement says it best: “We will seek to live out our mission through multi-generational worship, prayer, discipleship, teaching, and outreach. We will work to promote unity amongst churches in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We long to see lives radically changed by the Gospel in Delta County and beyond”.
Scott and Angie believe the first step of obedience to following the call and vision God has placed on their hearts is by planting a church in downtown Gladstone. They started meeting at Van Cleve Park on July 9th, 2023. They are currently meeting at 1930 N Lincoln Rd in Escanaba. The facility is located next to Bosk Rentals and across from Bay College.
We look forward to worshipping with you at Delta Church!
